changes.

a couple things are going on in our household recently. i only have one day of clinical left before a much-needed break of about 3 weeks. then next semester i start women's health and pediatrics. i'm super nervous, but it gets me one step closer to graduation. jered will FINALLY be done with traveling soon... his last day is december 12th and then he'll be here hanging out with hadleigh and me all of the time! hadleigh's getting bigger every day and she's so fun! she laughs at everything and plays with any and everything she can get her hands on (note the above playtime with the tv remote). she's still loving everything about sonny and pulling his hair and ears as hard as she can... luckily he doesn't care yet. she's trying SO hard to crawl. she's given up on rolling places... she just gets on all fours and tries to get moving. when that doesn't work, she just lunges her body in the direction she needs to go. she is such a mess, and we couldn't love her more!

6 month pictures.

after much anticipation... we finally have hadleigh's 6-month pictures! these were actually taken when she was about 5 1/2 months old out in arkansas. we just got them today! they're too cute.

big baby.

just an update about our big girl... we went for our 6 month check up last tuesday. hadleigh weighs 15 pounds, 11 ounces, and is 26.5 inches tall. this puts her right below the 50th percentile for weight and just above the 50th percentile for height. she has officially caught up!!

i'm 6 months old!

our little girl celebrated her half birthday on october 30th! she is 6 months old!! time has gone by so fast. she's still so fun and just an awesome, mellow baby. she's still sleeping through the night like a champ. this week's time change threw her off though... we've been waking up at 6am :( she's eating veggies every night and loving squash and green beans. i'm going to start fruit this week. she's sitting up by herself for long periods of time, pushing up on all fours and rocking back and forth, still putting everything in her mouth, and loving on sonny whenever he'll let her. :) we are loving life with hadleigh and can't wait for what's next!

hadleigh got all dressed up for halloween this year... we hung out at home and watched the trick-or-treaters. she loved watching everyone come to the door! her "costume" didn't really have a theme, just something cute to wear. she was really into eating the tutu, so we didn't get many cute pictures. she only lasted in the outfit about 15 minutes, so here's what we got. enjoy!
